Engineering Lab Technician I

Location: 100% onsite – Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Start date: September 14. Duration: 12-month contract with ongoing renewal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support, test, and maintain hardware equipment in a lab environment.
• Perform soldering tasks, including entry-level work.
• Assist with inventory management.

Requirements

• Understanding of PC architecture, storage architecture, networking, and GPU architecture.
• Experience or exposure to inventory management.
• Experience working in a hardware lab environment (enterprise or university setting).
• Hands-on experience supporting, testing, or maintaining hardware equipment in a lab environment.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.

Skills

• Attention to detail and self-driven/proactive mindset.
• Ability to multitask.
• Soldering experience (entry-level or higher).

Pluses

• Experience with SMD component-related work.
• Knowledge or experience with JIRA.
