Responsibilities
- Train on quality and commissioning engineering principles across mechanical, electrical, wastewater, ultrapure water (UPW), chemical and gas, controls, and other critical utility systems
- Aid with commissioning activities to support system verification, startup, and project readiness
- Manage issue tracking within commissioning software platforms, including documentation, escalation, and follow-up of commissioning items
- Support engineering teams in identifying, documenting, and resolving quality and commissioning issues throughout project execution
- Conduct system walkthroughs, inspections, punch list verification, and functional testing activities
- Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, testing records, and project deliverables
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, technicians, and cross-functional project teams to support commissioning milestones and construction activities
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (third year or above preferred) or a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline
- Strong technical aptitude within an engineering discipline
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn structured engineering and commissioning processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with engineering or commissioning software is beneficial
