About the role

ROWE Professional Services Company is an employee-owned, full-service professional consulting firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, aerial photography/mapping, LiDAR, landscape architecture, planning, and land development. Core values include safety, quality, people, service, and growth. ROWE is seeking Engineering Interns for its 2027 summer internship program across Michigan and South Carolina offices, with opportunities in Construction Services and Design Services divisions. Interns will work under the supervision of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Assist in design engineering and inspection/construction engineering services.
Assist in completing various engineering tasks.
Willing to work both in the office and outdoors on project sites as needed.

Forward-thinking, safety-conscious, and energetic individuals excited to work on both small‑scale and large‑scale projects.

Qualifications

Pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, environmental, or construction engineering or a related field from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
Ability to interact well with coworkers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
