Engineering Coordinator

About the role

The Engineering Coordinator position is within the Auberge Collection, blending small-town charm with sophisticated luxury. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role supports the Engineering team and ensures smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative tasks such as inventory and control processes, ordering materials, maintaining departmental checkbook, and ensuring pars are set and kept
• Research and order parts with attention to best pricing and delivery schedules
• Liaise with vendors to obtain preferred pricing
• Monitor Alice system to ensure flawless communication with other departments
• Cook with Front Office and Housekeeping Departments to track and organize Perfect Room Program
• Organize and track preventative maintenance related to property equipment
• Ensure projects adhere to safety standards as set by the Resort and CalOSHA
• Work with Learning and Development Manager to ensure the department is compliant with any applicable trainings
• Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of one-year prior office administrative experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide directions and guidance in a clear, concise, and professional manner
• Passion for delivering exceptional service and genuine interest in working with guests in a luxury environment
• Aptitude for working with multiple computer systems
• Multilingual skills (Spanish)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in engineering or related field preferred

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
