About the role

The Engineering Coordinator role at Hotel Jerome is a full-time, year-round position. The targeted compensation wage is $25-27/hr, and the position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Collection.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of resort fire, water, sewage, and irrigation systems.
  • Respond promptly to all guest requests.
  • Follow established safety procedures.
  • Log and communicate essential information in engineering logs.
  • Assign and delegate work orders promptly in coordination with technicians.
  • Cook with approved vendors for invoicing, scheduling, and contracted pricing.
  • Manage inventory control for all engineering areas, including setting and maintaining pars.
  • Order and research parts for best pricing, quality, and delivery times.
  • Manage departmental expenses for engineering and security.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) process and documentation.
  • Schedule shifts for the engineering department.
  • Maintain up-to-date O&M manuals for all equipment.
  • Keep current business licenses and insurance certifications for all contractors.
  • Demonstrate strong people skills; proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in administration or project management, preferably within a hotel or property management environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical school desired.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.

Skills

Engineering experience preferred; parts knowledge a plus.

Pay

The targeted compensation wage for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $25-27/hr.
