What You Will Do
- Shadowing members of the assigned department as they perform their duties.
- Assisting with daily departmental duties such as research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete records.
- Preparing reports and other documents.
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
- Learning how to work as part of a departmental team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about department and office operations.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work with detailed information/data.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment, Microsoft Office programs, and basic awareness of ERP module and systems.
- Ability to organize, conduct and schedule meetings.
- Experience in composites or other manufacturing is preferred.
Working Conditions
- PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Exposure to contaminants.
- Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled.
- Shared workspaces with other employees.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
