Quality Engineer-Manufacturing
Summary
Support Tyler manufacturing operations with specific focus on critical to quality process performance, resolution of product and process quality issues and quality system deployment.
Responsibilities
- Resolution of manufacturing quality issues by utilizing structured problem solving methodologies to establish capable measurement systems, collect and analyze data, identify root cause and implement effective corrective action
- Support of quality management system processes and practices including active participation in management of critical to quality processes
- Daily quality engineering support of manufacturing operations including off-shift support
- Support of new component and new production introduction through development of systems and methods to ensure product and process quality
- Lead process improvement activities to improve cost of poor quality
- Supplier quality issue resolution specifically related to production operations disruption
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree and willingness to pursue higher level of education is valued.
- Quality Engineering certification is a plus
- Experience with implementation of Quality Management Systems is a plus
- Demonstrated experience with leading structured problem solving activities
- Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma tools a plus
- Computer literate within a Windows environment and proficient with Microsoft office products
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to make timely decisions and apply sound judgment
- Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to communicate at all levels within organization
Qualifications

- Annual Base Salary Range: $77,963.33 - $109,340.00

- No Sales Commission Eligible
- 401K match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution
