Engineering Co-Op/Internship Fall 2026

Responsibilities
- Gain strong work experience and exposure to multiple areas of the company, including manufacturing, distribution, extrusion, technical development, information services, and corporate administration.
- Apply skills and knowledge to real working environments, while also gaining support through networking opportunities and access to a nationally-recognized training program.
- Complete a series of rotational assignments, alternating between semesters working at Shaw and taking classes with their university.
- Advance in the program, increasing responsibilities and working on projects that match their skills and interests.
- Gain new perspectives and ideas to improve productivity, quality, and cost in a full-scale manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Must have completed at least 3 or more semesters of college coursework
- Highly preferred: Full-time student status; if you are a co-op, you must be registered with your university's official co-op program or career services office
- Obtaining a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Operations, Chemical, Materials, Automation, or related engineering field
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
