Responsibilities

• Migrate workloads to the public cloud.
• Architect and deploy multi-tiered applications that are highly available, resilient, and secure.
• Manage issues and risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Apply analytical skills to arrive at creative and commercial solutions.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed cross-functional team to build customer-centric products.
• Manage the full lifecycle of software components, from requirements through design, testing, development, release, and retirement.
• Partner with colleagues from across Engineering to ensure an outstanding, usable, and unobtrusive experience for development teams.
• Communicate and promote best practices for public cloud application development and infrastructure management across the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2+ years of familiarity with AWS services.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with enterprise software development disciplines such as configuration and release management, source code and version controls, and operating considerations like monitoring.
• Practiced in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
• Proficient in relational and NoSQL database technologies.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and experience building transactional systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish trusted partnerships with product leads and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience with Cloud migrations and Understanding of Solution Engineering practices.
• Fluency in AWS CDK, Typescript, NPM, and CloudFormation.
