Job Duties
Develop, enhance, support and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses.
Leverage both internal and open-source services to design and implement high-quality, scalable and thoughtful technology solutions.
- Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment.
- Work with internal teams to develop solution designs.
- Identify new external technologies that can be used to transform financial businesses and internal platforms in innovative and disruptive ways.
- Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement and maintain robust testing suites to enable safe, complete, and scalable solutions across business lines.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role.
- Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role.
- Prior experience must include five (5) years with Bachelor’s OR three (3) years with Master’s with the following:
- C++ or Java;
- database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB;
- and full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
- Prior experience must include two (2) years with the following:
- building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within Unix environment;
- micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies.
