Job Description
You will be the Engineering Aide Senior for the Ground Systems Hardware Team which is responsible for supporting the physical build-up and assembly of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) ground hardware components.
What You Will Be Doing
- As the Engineering Aide you will be responsible for interpreting build-to-print instructions and assembling hardware while collaborating with the engineering team on process and implementation questions.
- Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Reading and interpreting detailed build-to-print drawings for COTS hardware such as servers, desks, switches, and computers.
- Assembling, testing, and verifying hardware components to meet quality and performance standards.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve process, fit, and implementation issues.
- Maintaining accurate build documentation, part inventories, and work order records.
- Supporting logistics and material handling to ensure timely availability of components.
