Key Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop drivetrains for off-highway vehicles.
- Create detailed design specifications and drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
- Conduct simulations and physical tests to validate wheel motor and drivetrain performance.
- Analyze test data and make necessary design adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source components.
- Oversee the production and assembly of prototypes.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wheel motor performance.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in motor design, preferably in the off-highway vehicle industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of motor control systems and power electronics; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
