Key Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop drivetrains for off-highway vehicles.
• Create detailed design specifications and drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
• Conduct simulations and physical tests to validate wheel motor and drivetrain performance.
• Analyze test data and make necessary design adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source components.
• Oversee the production and assembly of prototypes.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wheel motor performance.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in motor design, preferably in the off-highway vehicle industry.
• Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of motor control systems and power electronics; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
