Engineer-Transport - III

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, project management, and execution for transport network projects.
• Manage EBH circuit bandwidth nationally.
• Develop and execute technical plans to uplift EBH circuits.
• Create associated projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cellular/telecommunications industry in a Transport engineering role.
• Experience: Designing, maintaining, and documenting network diagrams and layouts; understanding of various wireless network technologies including switching, RF, transport, and data; familiarity with EBH reporting and SevOne tools; experience managing capacity on EBH networks.
• Skills: Expert knowledge and proven experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project & Visio; strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; knowledge of EBH Network Architecture, interconnection agreements, Ethernet backhaul design, fiber testing and troubleshooting, Granite database, and capacity and forecasting experience in transport networks.
