Engineer Technician / Building Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies.
• Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds, including:
  • Completion of daily work orders
  • Building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
  • Building and equipment repair
  • Participation in life safety compliance routines
  • Painting
  • Apartment turns
  • Building maintenance
  • Customer requests
  • Snow removal
  • Pool care
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in commercial or residential building maintenance
• Able to work independently, multitask, follow directions, and work under supervision
• Relate well and provide a professional image and services to all customers
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with all customers
• Must be able to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation (one week on-call, frequency depends on group size)

Pay

Hourly salary range: $19.43–$22.79 per hour + BOE.

Schedule

20 hours per week.
