Engineer Technician

About the Role

This role is 100% on the manufacturing floor, assisting in the production process of our diverse product lines. You will operate technical equipment and help streamline and organize production lines.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work on our rapidly growing DOAS (Dedicated Outdoor Air System) line and other production lines
• Accurately complete quality and administrative documents
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting
• Inspecting products
• Refrigerant charging and recovery
• Read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
• Brazing; welding and soldering skills a plus
• Perform all work according to safety standards and procedures
• Ensure workspace is clean, safe, and in working order

Requirements

• 2-year or 4-year technical degree in a mechanical or electrical-oriented curriculum
• Entry-level to 2 years of work experience
• Internship or other hands-on manufacturing experience preferred
• Able to use power tools and electrical testing and measuring equipment
• Universal EPA Certification preferred
• HVAC-related experience beneficial
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Able to read factory orders
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work standing for 8–10 hours at a time
• Required to use a ladder, forklift, or other means to acquire parts for product
• Able to use power and hand tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently

Pay

Starting pay at $25/hour plus monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.
