Engineer Systems Test 2

About the role

Join our dynamic Systems Test Engineering department as an Engineer Systems Test 2, where you'll engage in a range of exciting test activities for state-of-the-art weaponry. This on-site position is located at our facility in Plymouth, MN. Telecommuting is not available. This is a Contract position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans and coordinate with test facilities.
• Provide oversight during test executions and analyze test data.
• Compile and present final test reports.
• Conduct climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, and electromagnetic effects bench testing of electronic devices.
• Perform safety and reliability testing.
• Handle hazardous devices with proper training and resolve test-related technical issues.
• Support failure and analysis activities.
• Collect, reduce, analyze, and present data.
• Handle advanced testing instruments and ensure safety in the presence of hazardous devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Skills

• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Matlab, and SciPy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
