Engineer - Structural
About the Role
Walter P Moore is seeking Engineers for various office locations. In this team-oriented environment, you will collaborate with Structural Engineers and Project Managers, adhering to established standards and maintaining a client-focused, "can-do" attitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural computations for the design and analysis of concrete, steel, and miscellaneous structures.
- Create and interpret analysis models for 2D and 3D structural frames.
- Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
- Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads, calculating applicable loads based on building codes.
- Assist in preparing design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables as part of the structures team.
- Prepare technical studies and reports.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience.
- P.E. license in your resident state.
- Experience with Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
