About the Role

Walter P Moore is seeking a mid-level Structural Engineer to join their dynamic Structural Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of relevant experience designing office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues, and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and above. This role involves working on major projects throughout the United States and internationally, serving clients such as architects, developers, institutions, and contractors.

The successful candidate will thrive in a strong team environment, demonstrate a high energy level, and exhibit self-motivation. Technical specialization, proactivity, and a "can-do" customer service attitude are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for large commercial projects, including office buildings, healthcare facilities, and sports venues.
• Collaborate within a team environment to meet client and project needs proactively.
• Work with clients such as architects, developers, institutions, and contractors.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a client-service-oriented approach.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in relevant commercial building design.
• Demonstrated career growth with experience working on design teams for a variety of building types.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office (hybrid work environment).

Pay

This position offers an annual salary range of $92,000 to $109,000. The actual offered salary will depend on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, industry experience, and internal equity.
