Engineer - Structural
About the Role
We are seeking an Engineer to join our Structures Group. This individual will work closely with a team of Structural Engineers, Project Managers, and other Graduate Engineers in a collaborative, client-focused environment. A willingness to adhere to established standards and a “can-do” attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural computations for the design and analysis of concrete, steel, or other miscellaneous structures.
- Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
- Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
- Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on appropriate building codes.
- Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while collaborating with the structures team.
- Prepare technical studies and reports.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required.
- Experience with Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position, combining in-office and remote work. Candidates must be able to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office.
