Engineer - Structural
About the Role
We are currently looking for Engineers in a variety of our office locations. In this position, the individual will work closely with a team of Structural Engineers and/or Project Managers, following established standards in a collaborative environment. A “can-do”, client-focused attitude is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel, or other miscellaneous structures.
- Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
- Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
- Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on appropriate building codes.
- Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while working with the structures team.
- Prepare technical studies and reports.
Requirements
- Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- 4-8 years of experience.
- P.E. license in your resident state required.
- Experience with Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
