About the role
PACE Engineers, a Verdantas Company, is seeking an Engineer to join our Structural team in Lake Oswego, OR. Our team provides structural evaluation, design, and construction phase services to private and public-sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Career advancement opportunities
- Coordinate multiple projects and work with staff and sub-consultants
- Coordinate and manage client requests and needs
- Apply technical knowledge of structural engineering principles
- Serve as a technical advisor to other staff
- Review design and production deliverables ensuring industry standard of care and compliance with PACE standards and policies
- Provide mentoring to new engineers
- Support proposal and business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering
- 4 - 9 years of civil engineering experience
- Oregon State PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Washington State PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months
- OR/WA State SE preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Eight or more years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Concrete Design
- Steel Design
- Deseired Skills / Experience:
- Industrial structures
- Mechanical/Electrical Support structures
- Building Shells
- Transportation Structure design
- Two years of project management of small projects a plus
- The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory skills
- Demonstrated business development and client management experience
- Team Player

$106,000 - $139,750 (USD)
