Engineer, Structural

Halff is seeking a Structural Engineer with a Texas PE License to join our growing Structural team in our Richardson office. This role is ideal for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in Structural/Bridge Engineering who is interested in working on diverse structural engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Design a variety of complete structural engineering projects such as hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
• Manage production of construction drawings for your own work.
• Review contractor submittals during construction.
• Coordinate efforts with clients as well as in-house engineers.
• Assist in training less experienced staff.
• Provide CAD assistance when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Master’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET-accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas.
• MicroStation, Revit, or AutoCAD training is a plus.
