About the Role

Analyzes, researches, and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic, or composite structural materials for product design or operation. This includes structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment, and maintenance designs. Responsibilities also involve analyzing damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling.

Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue, and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer, and a variety of software applications.

This position will support plant maintenance and building construction. Responsibilities may include drafting blueprints, supervising construction projects, and ensuring compliance with legal and environmental regulations. Additional duties include planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of various structures and infrastructure, such as roads and sewage systems. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and local enforcement agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work with professionals from different disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant exempt experience; or a Master’s Degree with 0 years of relevant professional experience.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $89,000.00 to $110,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
