Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Developing and authoring technical work documents and lift plans for the company's specialized workforce to safely and efficiently perform radiological and other hazardous remediation
- Participating in work scoping to understand site conditions, work to be performed, and end state
- Participating in developing project schedules
- Developing technical specifications for subcontracted work
- Developing facility characterization plans
- Overseeing and examining production/subcontractor work
- Maintaining awareness of federal, state, and local safety laws to ensure compliance with all current safety regulations
- Developing Project Closeout and Release Reports
Basic Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Engineering or Science is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Nuclear, Construction, Demolition or Remediation fields
- US Citizenship is required: no dual citizenship
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptation to culture focusing on Safety and Health
- Prior Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program experience is preferred but not required
- Radiological, environmental and lifting and handling experience is preferred
- AutoCAD Inventor experience is preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Level L Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain radiological qualifications

- As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $87,000 - $125,000 Per Year.
- Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
