Engineer Manager - Contingent Worker

Summary

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Manager with 5+ years of experience in a managing role to join our growing dynamic team. The Manager will be supervising a team of Designers and Engineers (mechanical, electrical, simulation). The role will involve checking the team deliverables from the draftsmen and /or Engineers to create and maintain a consistent level of standard practices. The role is based in Bengaluru, India under the supervision and leadership of the Global Engineering Manager based in Houston Texas USA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a Managing role
• 5-10+ years' experience in a manufacturing/design environment, and a desire to be hands on
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership mindset
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent time and project Management
• Well organized and self-motivated
• Must be able to work independently as well as being great team player
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Basic Knowledge in SolidWorks
• Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems a plus but not required

Working Conditions

Office and warehouse environment. Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift. Occasional travel required.

Language

Fluent and clear English is required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
