  • Determine test objectives, instrumentation, and data requirements.
  • Write test planning documents, schedule program activities, track funding and expenditures, plan and conduct test missions, analyze resultant data, document results in test reports, statistical evaluations, and briefing presentations.
  • Direct interface with internal and external customers at all levels from quotation to final design.
  • Act as liaison for test activities, design reviews, and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
  • Generate complete design specifications for more complex projects.
  • Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
  • Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
  • Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies.
  • Support development of technical proposals and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

  • Conduct site visits and experimental investigations, analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop, interpret, and implement technical and administrative operating policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive V&V test programs, plans, and protocols to ensure JSE platforms and systems mirror real-world tactical aircraft.
  • Draft detailed test cards and procedures, coordinate scenario development with Operations Engineers, and guide the test team during live execution.
  • Analyze raw simulation data using Python and MATLAB to troubleshoot anomalies, identify root causes of failures, and author final test reports for customers.
  • Represent V&V at programmatic reviews (SRRs, PDRs/CDRs) and stakeholder meetings; coordinate across diverse organizational teams and mentor junior engineers.
