About the role
The Engineer-Information Services Senior at Indiana University Health is responsible for designing, building, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools, and platforms. This role involves evaluating, analyzing, configuring, and implementing new products and technologies while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled.
Responsibilities
- Fulfills customer requirements through the design, build, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools, and platforms.
- Evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new products and technologies while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled.
- Provides comprehensive support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming and scripting.
- Works on complex applications and projects, applying advanced technical expertise to deliver reliable and effective solutions.
- Mentors and assists other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience required.
- Cloud platform experience preferred.
- Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
- Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
