About the role
Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, seeks an Engineer in Training to support generator repair activities and assist with engineering-related work in both shop and field environments.
Responsibilities
- Support generator repair activities and related engineering work.
- Aid with CAD work, including reverse engineering efforts.
- Support development and maintenance of engineering documentation.
- Aid with procedure development and updates.
- Provide support for special projects within the St. Louis Generator business.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues in both shop and on-site environments.
- Support technical documentation and reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with Generator Specialists and other team members to support ongoing work and continuous improvement efforts.
- Aid with technical communications related to generator projects and issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Ability to travel during peak periods.
- Available to work the operational hours of the position, including weekends and holidays, and to work extended hours and overtime as needed based on business demands.
