Engineer III - Controls
Summary Of Position Functions
The Controls Engineer will quickly gain an understanding and working knowledge of Veregy’s technology products and building automation systems. The engineer will utilize this understanding to design, implement, and optimize building automation systems that control various commercial systems including HVAC, lighting, access control, etc. The engineer will optimize control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility wide energy efficiency.
Essential Position Functions
- Aid engineering and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems.
- Write and optimize building automation control sequences to reduce energy consumption and increase facility efficiency.
- Affiliate with project teams in the creation of design and construction documents related to building automation systems and other Veregy technology products.
- Perform pre-functional and functional testing on new building automation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve project customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.

Education/Certification Requirement
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or Software.
- Valid driver's license.
Required Experience
- 10+ years in building automation system design and implementation.
- Tridium Niagara AX / N4 certified.
- Distech, Reliable Controls, Honeywell experience is a plus.
