Role Responsibilities
- Cook up field measurements and analyze results, including power, flow, temperature, combustion efficiency, data loggers, etc.
- Determine key parameters to be measured and sampling sizes
- Review energy savings calculations (Excel bin models, eQuest, HAP)
- Monitor and evaluate trend data for ECM performance such as PV/Renewables, controls, AHUs, utility meter data, etc.
- Develop M&V plans following IPMVP, FEMP and other applicable guidelines
- Lead M&V sections write-ups for the Investment Grade Audit reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual M&V reports
- Review construction subcontracts for M&V requirements compliance
- Perform customer site visits for data collection and inspections
- Participate in customer meetings and present M&V plans and strategies
- Travel up to 25%
Job Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Engineering
- Minimum 1 years experience in M&V, energy analytics, energy engineering
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with IPMVP/FEMP
- EIT, CMVP or CEM
- Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
- Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
- Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
- Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
