Performance Engineer II

This role can be based out of Atlanta or Indianapolis and requires 50%–75% travel throughout the year.

Pay

National salary range: $55,000 – $90,000. State-specific ranges:

• California: $70,304 – $90,000
• Washington: $80,169 – $90,000
• New York: $62,354 – $90,000
• Colorado: $57,500 – $90,000

About the role

Under direct supervision from the Sr. Operations Performance Engineer, you will conduct studies to determine engineered labor standards, evaluate efficient sequences of operations and workflow, and recommend improvements to maximize utilization of facilities and personnel. The role implements Labor Management across operations and performs site audits, reporting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Implement Labor Management (LM) and engineered labor standards in Consumer sites
• Conduct time studies and methods analyses to provide LMS maintenance support related to engineered standards
• Train site management, supervisors, and super-users on usage of LMS
• Demonstrate methods to utilize LMS to optimize operating potential
• Perform site audits to ensure compliance with system requirements and evaluate opportunities for improvement
• Work with operations teams to identify improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Identify potential projects, assess feasibility, and participate in implementing solutions
• Create, maintain, and distribute weekly and monthly project documentation
• Facilitate monthly project reviews
• Work with databases, information technology, spreadsheets, and related information

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
• 1+ years of experience in operations, logistics, distribution, or transportation required
• 1+ year of time study, industrial engineering, operational analysis, or relevant experience desired
