Engineer II (Mechanical Engineer)
About the role
Support mechanical and hydraulic related architecture design for all product lines, working closely with Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Systems Engineers to ensure integrated, optimized machine solutions.
Supports production by diagnosing and solving problems related to hydraulic and/or mechanical systems.
Develops a catalog of mechanical and hydraulic components that support vehicle architecture.
Responsible for mechanical assemblies, hydraulic schematics, and technical support documentation.
Participates in the structuring, release, and maintenance of the assigned product lines: bills of materials, published technical specifications, and other related documentation.
Ensures compliance with relevant industry standards.
Desires to learn product lines, attend training, participate in field visits and interface with customers.
Develops, writes, and coordinates engineering deviations, change requests, change orders, and works to close items in a timely manner.
Performs additional job-related duties and special projects, as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum 2-5+ years’ experience with mechanical‑hydraulic systems for off‑road, construction, rail, or forestry equipment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD, PDM software and ERP/MRP software preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-5+ years’ experience with mechanical‑hydraulic systems for off‑road, construction, rail, or forestry equipment preferred.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD, PDM software and ERP/MRP software.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or any other time agreed upon.
