Engineer II (Mechanical)

PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, headquartered in Andalusia, AL, is a generation and transmission (G&T) electric cooperative serving 22 distribution members—18 electric distribution systems and four municipal electric systems—across 51 counties in Alabama and 10 counties in Florida.

About the role

The Engineer II provides engineering support to the division, offering necessary technical direction and assistance. This position is based at the Lowman Energy Center (LEC) in Leroy, Alabama.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Two (2) years of experience as an Engineer III or equivalent experience
