Engineer I, Electrical Design

About the role

We're hiring an Engineer I to design electrical systems and power networks that serve customers across multiple industries. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, developing technical solutions while building your expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and power system requirements as they apply to Low Voltage Motor Control Centers
• Create concise instructions via engineering systems to create approval packages and/or manufacturing releases
• Work with the field office to resolve any discrepancies between the customer documentation and order entry, obtaining change orders as necessary to meet customer timelines

Requirements

• Four-year degree in engineering or two-year degree plus applicable motor control experience
• 3-5 years of engineering or technical experience
• Knowledge of Low-voltage Motor Control Centers
• Practical technical knowledge of automation
• Strong interpersonal skills for working directly with internal and external customers
• General working knowledge of control logic
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay

The expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
