Engineer - Hotel Shop

Responsibilities

• Maintain various equipment and fixtures inside the property high rise areas.
• Report all equipment and fixture errors to Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area and Management.
• Assist other trades and crafts with routine and emergency work assignments.
• Interact with guests daily.
• Ensure the hotel meets all building codes and regulations.
• Show basic knowledge of Fire life safety systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of various types of electrical and lighting systems; beverage systems; plumbing systems and basic carpentry skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to walk long distances and perform work for extended periods on tall ladders and lifts.
• Read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches.
• Proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and protective equipment.
• Able to respond immediately to all emergency situations and calls.
• Valid State of Nevada Driver's License required and must be obtained before entering this position.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must have a valid State of Nevada Driver's License and be 21 years of age or older.

Skills
