Purpose of the Role

Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
• Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Support engineering work functions.
• Additional job assignments and duties as directed, including but not limited to:
  • Emergency Response duties and/or coverage
  • Department duty coverage and/or call-out
  • Supporting outage activities outside of the department

Requirements

Entry-Level (E01 Engineer – New Graduate)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Mid-Level (E02 Engineer)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Senior (E03 Engineer)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training Certification

Pay

• Entry-Level: $87,000 per year
• Mid-Level: $92,700 – $114,000 per year
• Senior: $122,400 – $154,000 per year

Ranges are based on experience and include a comprehensive benefits package with bonus and 401K.
