Engineer | Daytona Speedway Fairfield Inn
Responsibilities
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
- Observes all house and safety rules, departmental procedures, and security procedures.
- Aid with inventories as scheduled.
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Knowledge of all mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the building.
- Proper chemical handling and disposal knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive interaction with hotel personnel and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

About The Role
The Engineer will be responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting with ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units, as well as other general maintenance, in accordance with the standards of Shaner Hotels and the respective franchises.
The ideal candidate should be customer service-oriented and willing to go above and beyond to enhance the guest experience.
