About the role

As a Crawler Hydraulic Engineer at John Deere Dubuque Works in Dubuque, IA, you will own hydraulic system development for specific Crawler models, collaborate with suppliers on new hydraulic components, and support hose routing for product development programs. You will also investigate warranty issues on current production hydraulic components.

Travel up to 25% may be required based on business needs. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Own hydraulic system development for specific Crawler models
• Work with suppliers to develop new hydraulic components
• Support contract resources to complete hose routing for Crawler product development programs
• Investigate current production hydraulic components identified in warranty

Requirements

• Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems and Components (through relevant coursework, practical work experience, or internships)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle emerging issues, determine root cause, and drive corrective action
• Experience with mobile equipment applications
• Experience with 3D modeling tools
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) or equivalent related work experience

Qualifications

• Expertise and demonstrated experience with Hydraulic Systems and Components
• Experience working with Hydraulic suppliers
