Duties/Responsibilities
- Review process to gather and document requirements.
- Access information from the Product Support systems including failure analysis.
- Conduct data analysis.
- Understand the role of hydraulic filtration and system ISO cleanliness.
- Recognize the differences in hydraulic fluids, compatibility, temperature-viscosity selection.
- Perform or be able to interpret system CFD and/or hydraulic simulation modeling results.
- Intro to integration team when placing components – ensure lines routings best practices are understood.
- Access components and machine models, approve drawing releases, reassign drawing design control ownership, create new part numbers.
- Work with the releasing team, submitting drawings and 3D models. Publishing 3D models prior to drawing releases to allow systems to confirm proper fit up.
- Hands on inspection of returned hardware such as new components, field failures, etc.
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic components or systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics.
Desired Skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulic pumps and motors strongly desired
- Experience with databases, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Apps desired
