Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers, supporting the development of new or improved electrical components.
- Lead projects to improve cost, reliability, and quality of harnesses and electrical components.
- Implement & document design changes in PDM system.
- Perform warranty and root cause analysis.
- Aid the assembly line in troubleshooting electrical issues as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read electrical schematics, use a multimeter, and diagnose electrical problems.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Skills
- Experience with vehicle electrical systems.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools (such as: Pro/E, Solidworks, AutoCAD).
- Experience with 3D Modeling tools for harness routing like ProE-ProCable or MentorGraphics, Capitol Harness.
- Experience working with electrical suppliers.
Qualifications
- Ideally, a degree or equivalent related work experience in Engineering.
