Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate shop support maintenance and budget planning activities regarding Rolls Royce power plants
- Provide advice in support of troubleshooting efforts and component replacement/repair
- Select contract maintenance providers and ensure warranty work coverage processes
- Ensure maintenance activities are following airworthiness requirements
- Average daily updates to the MOCC regarding both on-wing and off-wing maintenance activities on Rolls Royce power plants
- Cook up work orders and include supporting documents
- Review the discrepancy history and include the work packages
- Consistently improve the Dispatch Availability of their fleet
- Support other Engine Managers on other OEM engine types as required
- Support Fleet Technical Managers as required
Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or 5 years of experience in an aviation environment
- 3+ years of experience working on Rolls Royce power plants
- OEM factory training on one or more engine types
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Working relationship with other Flexjet departments
- Quality Assurance, Procurement, MOCC and Planning, Reliability, Fleet Technical Manager, Finance Knowledge/Skills
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
