Position SummaryThe Mature Jet Engine Mechanic will repair and performs removal/installation, cleaning, inspection, repair as well as replace Power Plant systems components and accessories. All work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, applicable manufacturer maintenance manuals, company directives and other approved data. Job ResponsibilitiesInspect completed work to ensure that it meets performance standardsKeep records of maintenance and repair workAbility to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work cardsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsMust comply with all safety procedures and specifications. QualificationsESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent requiredPower plant license (preferred, not required.) Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a jet engine technician (specifically CF6 engines) preferred.
