Role Overview
Engagement Managers are integral members of our consulting teams, leading Analysts, Associate Consultants, and Consultants on projects with healthcare provider clients typically spanning 3-6 months in duration. Our team covers the full spectrum of revenue cycle-related responsibilities in acute care and ambulatory settings and has managed significant large-scale transformational initiatives for leading healthcare organizations. We help our clients achieve enhanced financial and operational performance, bringing broader industry perspective and a long track record of improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall project, balancing work effort and input from clients and colleagues to achieve goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights
- Coach and mentor junior staff, driving the development of their skills and knowledge
- Produce sophisticated, compelling deliverables that motivate clients to action
- Support the firm’s growth through contributions to internal initiatives
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Experience working within revenue cycle and healthcare consulting on strategic and/or operational initiatives, including managing others
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong and effective people leader
