Engagement Manager

Location: Washington, D.C. (Primarily Remote; occasional onsite as required) Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust (DHS suitability) Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required Job Type: Full-time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead our support of the DHS Office of Homeland Security Statistics (OHSS) Core Report Service Support contract. This role serves as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR, overseeing all contractor work across daily/weekly/monthly reporting, data dashboards, data validation, website maintenance, and surge support. The Engagement Manager ensures timely, accurate delivery of mission-critical statistical products to DHS leadership, Congress, and the White House. Key Responsibilities Serve as primary point of contact for the Government, providing overall leadership and accountability for all contract deliverables.Oversee a multi-disciplinary team of developers, analysts, and web designers to ensure high-quality, on-time performance across all five task areas.Coordinate with OHSS data processing and governance teams to align reporting methodologies with official production standards.Manage client relationships with OHSS leadership and federal staff, representing the contractor in all high-level meetings.Maintain awareness of all team activities, proactively identifying and resolving project risks and issues.Ensure compliance with all DHS security, privacy, and conduct policies, including HSPD-12 and CUI safeguarding requirements.Oversee staffing continuity, providing fully qualified replacements as needed.Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Reports and final task reports. Required Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible program/project management experience, with at least 5 years managing large-scale Federal IT or data analytics contracts.Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust and be a U.S. Citizen.Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of data analytics environments (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Tableau, Python, SQL).Leadership: Exceptional communication and client relationship skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.Compliance: Knowledge of Federal security requirements, including HSPD-12, Section 508, and CUI safeguarding (HSAR 3052.204-71/72).Availability: Available by phone during business hours; must respond to technical problem requests within 24 hours. Desired Experience Experience with DHS or OHSS.PMP or Master's degree.Experience with Drupal CMS and GitLab.
