Summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling Manager to join their Energy Storage Group. The role involves interacting with various staff on complex projects, managing schedules, and collaborating with business development. Preference is for candidates based in Denver, Minneapolis, San Antonio, or remote.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate site teams and trade partners in developing project schedules. - Support group leadership by monitoring and updating project schedules. - Develop mitigation plans to address scheduling issues. - Coach and train team members in scheduling methods. - Work with business development to prepare successful project proposals. - Implement company-wide training plans. - Contribute to corporate planning and scheduling initiatives. - Build and maintain relationships with diverse colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. - At least eight years of construction experience. - Advanced knowledge of scheduling principles and software. - Proficiency in standard construction practices and project sequencing. - Ability to anticipate and solve complex project problems. - Strong reading, review, and interpretation skills. - Familiarity with project management, buyout, and contracts. - Experience with 4D visual planning methodologies. - Excellent organizational and delegation skills. - Exceptional customer service and communication abilities. - Understanding of project estimates and scheduling. - Ability to quickly develop project schedules during proposal stages. - Effective teamwork and leadership skills. - Results-driven approach to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. - Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policies. - Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills.

Pay Range

The base pay range for this role is $116,900 to $175,400, with potential adjustments based on location and performance. The position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
