About the role

We are seeking a Welder responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials, as well as setting up and performing welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials
• Set up and perform welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications
• Assist engineering with prints and documentation design
• Conduct daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions
• Apply basic problem-solving techniques and troubleshooting related to welding component parts
• Perform general cleanup and clearing of debris

Requirements

• AWS Certified
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull over 50 lbs with assistance from another team member or equipment
• Repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others and build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Possess a basic understanding of construction hand tools
• Positive professional attitude
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
• Ability to adapt to change
• Punctual and dependable
• Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
