Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Welder to perform tasks including loading and unloading equipment and materials, preparing, handling, and supplying materials, setting up and performing moderate complexity welds from blueprints and specifications, assisting engineering with prints and documentation design, conducting daily activities according to quality system procedures and work instructions, and demonstrating problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

- Load and unload equipment and materials - Prepare, handle, and supply materials - Set up and perform welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications - Assist engineering with prints and documentation design - Conduct daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions - Apply basic problem-solving techniques and troubleshooting skills related to welding component parts - Perform general cleanup and clear debris

Qualifications

- AWS Certified - At least 2 years of experience as a welder - Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull over 50 lbs with assistance - Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements - Effective communication and relationship-building skills - Familiarity with construction hand tools - Positive professional attitude - Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies - Adaptability to change - Punctuality and dependability
