Energy Services Consultant

About the Role

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking Energy Services Consultants in our Menomonee Falls, WI, and Port Washington, WI locations. This position is represented by the We Energies L2150 Union and is responsible for maximizing business opportunities with large commercial, industrial, and municipal customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with large commercial, industrial, and municipal customers and developers.
• Contact, establish, and maintain relationships with new and current customers to address their needs and concerns.
• Respond to customer/contractor requests for outages, rate evaluations, bill inquiries, and various service functions.
• Investigate methods to improve system reliability.
• Analyze customer loads to determine proper rate application and prepare for line extension contracts.
• Work with developers, contractors, consultants, and engineering firms to establish new and expanded service.
• Coordinate installation with internal and external resources.
• Handle follow-up on customer concerns and work with solar accounts.
• Promote energy conservation and efficiency through available programs.
• Assist with monitoring load and demand at customer locations.
• Maintain customer relationship management tool (iAvenue) database.
• Provide utilization analysis of customer loads and equipment.
• Prepare business proposals for project development.
• Promote and follow through on Night Aura projects.
• Assist service managers as needed.
• Manage First Alert service for large customers during high demands or service interruptions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or equivalent education) in engineering, marketing, business administration, project management, or finance.
• At least three years of customer contact experience.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving requirements.
• For some locations, compliance with D.O.T. Part 199 Pipeline drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Testing Requirements

• Energy Services Consultant Presentation Exercise (ESCP): Interactive exercise to assess communication, presentation skills, customer service orientation, interpersonal presence, and overall performance.
• Sales and Marketing Structured Interview (SMSI): Evaluation of training, experience, customer service orientation, sales and marketing skills, and communication skills.

Pay

Minimum Posting Range: $35.72
Maximum Posting Range: $59.51

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
