Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Attend assigned team meetings and collaborate with Building Performance Consultants and Program Managers on program documentation and deliverables.
- Support internal and external stakeholder reporting.
- Support a portfolio of projects at different stages of design, construction, and compliance.
- Team with Building Performance Consultants and others to develop efficient internal reference materials.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Three years’ related experience working in building science, construction management, architecture, or environmental science desired.
- Strong interest and desire to work within the sustainability and energy industry.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and sense of ownership.
- Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently learn, synthesize and apply new information.
- Ability to multi-task and pivot as needed to address priority items that may arise.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams as well as work independently on team deliverables.
- Familiarity and competencies with Microsoft business solutions used to develop reference materials and consulting deliverables: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct directed research and summarize findings.
- Ability to clearly explain processes to building owners and project teams.
- Experience using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM); familiarity with other benchmarking or reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with Benchmarking and Building Performance Standards, energy disclosure regulations, and performance-based compliance frameworks.
