About the Opportunity

The Energy Efficiency Market Engagement Manager (Business) is responsible for supporting the implementation of multifamily energy efficiency programs by building and managing partnerships with key stakeholders. The role focuses on developing a network of contractors to deliver energy-saving measures, ensuring program goals are met, and advancing energy efficiency projects for multifamily participants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with contractors, trade organizations, and industry groups.
  • Recruit contractors for the multifamily program based on needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with subcontractor partners to execute program delivery and achieve goals.
  • Monitor participation and adjust recruitment strategies to optimize contractor engagement.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to contractors on program updates and requirements.
  • Lead meetings and communications related to contractor recruitment and program support.
  • Deliver presentations tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in contractor or trades management.
  • Experience in training and recruitment management.
  • Proven success engaging contractors, unions, subcontractors, and trade organizations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to set clear expectations with diverse trades.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Residency in New Jersey.
  • Technical knowledge of energy efficiency measures and contractor capabilities.
  • Excellent organization, project management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Client-centered and customer service focus.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Base salary range: $80,000 - $126,000.
Eligibility for discretionary annual bonus.
Final compensation determined by experience, education, and location.
